Your intuitive abilities never leave you, even when you ignore them. They are always there. Try sitting in your gut, on a nice pillow in your solar plexus, and see what your gut responses are to people in your day or decisions you make- your gut is simple, it either FEELS comfortable or uncomfortable. It does not think or analyze or give excuses. It is your basic intuitive response to everything and everyone.
So practice becoming aware of your gut feelings and intuitive impressions will follow.
What is my spiritual path? Do I have the right spiritual teacher or is there another to come?
